If you are going to protest, and want to fire guns and stuff, especially into the New Zealand flag, just head over to a crowded marae and get going. As long as you say its symbolic, it's all sweet.

On the other hand, do not, under any circumstances, leave a brochure around calling for other New Zealanders to make a similar symbolic protest, having left an axe in an empty electoral office. That's definitely sedition. You'll have your IRD records gone over with a fine tooth-comb, parking fines checked and anything else they can pin on you, and go to jail for a very long time.
