NZX chairman Andrew Harmos has confirmed that publicly listed companies may soon be required to have a gender and ethnic diversity policy.
Harmos told a meeting of business people this morning that the NZX would propose a rule change mandating the policy and requiring companies to report back on how well they are doing at appointing more women and ethnic groups to their organisations.
