When our values are in the toilet

We slaughter 17,000+ of these every year in New Zealand and nobody bats an eyelid.
And yet if one of these gets accidently covered in oil it is a sure sign of how wicked mankind really is

It's a mystery to me.

  1. I know the point you are trying to make, but it wouldn't sink in to your average abortion-loving progressive.

What you'd need is some-one to break into various bird sanctuaries, and deliberately crush fertilized eggs of Kiwis, Keas, and any other of the numerous threatened species, and have them calmly respond to the howls of outrage that they weren't really "birds" and they were only "potential" life and lots of cats and ferrets eat bird eggs, so what is the big deal?

And just for good measure, dig up some turtle eggs covered in oil and stomp on those.

It might start to sink in then.

  2. Not that I advocate that of course - but unlike my critics, I don't advocate abortion either.
